Library Board of Trustees Application

The Greenfield Public Library Board is a 7-member governing board made up of Greenfield residents and Adair County residents. Terms on the board are four years, unless fulfilling the rest of a term. Qualifications include a commitment to provide quality library service for the community, and readiness to devote time and effort to the duties of trusteeship. Responsibilities include attending and participating in monthly board meetings, establishing policies and long-term goals for the library, initiating and overseeing the budget process, promoting and advocating for the library in the community, and hiring and evaluating the library director.
